The same page describes the Intelligent Flame Analysis System as a flame analysis and diagnostic tool developed at Adelphi that combines spectral imaging with software to determine combustion gas distributions in furnace flames, and frames the department’s energy research — flame analysis and diagnostics, and coal–oil mixtures as energy sources — as notable past research. Note that the sentence quoted above describes an opportunity for undergraduates. It is Adelphi’s statement about its own program, and it is not by itself a record of any particular completed supervision.

Design and modeling of spouted bed reactors
Adelphi University reported on 28 July 2016 that Phil Beylison studied the design and modeling of spouted bed reactors “under the mentorship of John P. Dooher, Ph.D., department chair and professor”, as part of the university’s McDonell Fellowship program.

The news item gives the project as the descriptive phrase above rather than a formal title, and it is reproduced without embellishment. The item is also the source for the statement that he was department chair at that date.
Student co-authorship
Charles V. Anderson appears as a co-author on the 2005 Frontiers in Optics paper and the 2007 Optical Engineering paper on cadmium selenide quantum dots. The printed author biography in the 2007 paper records that he received a B.S. in physics and philosophy from Adelphi University in 2006. Whether he held student status at the time the research was carried out is not stated in the source, so this site does not describe the papers as student co-authorship.
